I'm continuing to catch up on my new colleagues' publications. This one on #COVID19 vaccine rumours is particularly relevant given Australia's current vaccine discussions. #AcademicChatter Nusrat Homaira Population Child Health Research journals.plos.org/plosone/articl…

Here in #InnerWest Sydney, we're hemmed in by #COVID19 hotspots but are not yet required to wear masks outside. Most of us are doing it anyway. So proud of my community for choosing to protect the vulnerable.

It's pretty simple. Be nice to health workers. No matter how long you have to wait, what paperwork they need from you, how many times they ask you to check in and especially when they ask you to wear a mask. Don't be part of the problem. #supporthealthworkers

Research resources are increasingly tight. It's time to be innovative and reduce inefficiencies that cost us our time (and sanity)! Congrats Nora Samir for an insightful and useful article!! #AcademicChatter

My first ever publication! Please be kind next time you interact with your local vet clinic, animal shelter, wildlife rescuer and the myriad other people who protect the health and welfare of the animals we all love.

It's important to recognise the grief that comes from an animal's death, even if that animal wasn't your own. Thanks to Faunalytics for summarising our work.
