FDA committee votes 17-0 in favor of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5-11 with one member abstaining. Next goes to FDA commissioner and then CDC. Story to come.

I have worked on the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) since its creation in 1997, and we have been pushing to make it permanent for years! Thanks to Nanette D. Barragán Rep. Frank Pallone Ron Wyden Sherrod Brown Bob Casey for protecting the health coverage of 10M kids!!!

They may have flown under the radar, but these changes are a BFD.
