The Cius, maybe one of the worst executions ever. Not a single use case actually worked on it, of 20+ imagined. It's one of the biggest trust breakers I've seen. The most believable root cause was rooted in a corporate agreement with Intel, with very little Android support then.

I was in a business meeting in Japan Friday. A coworker was presenting but the self view of the room was blocking slides. I got up and disabled them. Then the slides stopped working in front of the Japanese Executive, and I 'lose face'. Actually, BSOD. Thanks Crowdstrike.

New technical PM job working on the backend network side of the Kuiper LEO satellite service just opened: amazon.jobs/en/jobs/273333… US citizens, based out of Redmond/Seattle area. I work really closely with this team, it's a fun area. DMs are open for questions.

Ugh - I just want to see cat photos and mindless things and reddit is 90% politics. Is fark.com or an equivalent still running?

Where did the lies all begin? Where was the false narrative born? What single conspiracy broke the spirit of America? That's easy: air fryers.

If you know telco things (backhaul, RAN, core networks, etc) and are interested in working on Kuiper satellite networking, we are hiring our first dedicated telco SA (looking in DC and Seattle/Redmond first): amazon.jobs/jobs/2749291

Maybe the first question I received after presenting on TGW was if you could reference security groups like you could with VPC peering. The answer is now yes: aws.amazon.com/about-aws/what…

After a hiatus, I'll be back speaking at reinvent this year. Sessions opened today, so if you'd like to hear more about how AWS and Kuiper connectivity come together, check out one of the chalk talks: registration.awsevents.com/flow/awsevents…

Ever wonder how a slice of Gruyère almost caused a #crash? 🧀 On Colibri’s 105m flight, it added aero torque that led to loss of roll #control on descent. For the first time, Colibri missed the pad by 40cm! But our #TVC control remained good, despite the high roll rate! 🔥

Another space troubleshooting story - switching antennas and spectrum to troubleshoot Voyager 15 billion miles away. 2 days for any round trip communication. I'd love to listen to a podcast of these guys nerding out on space comms. scitechdaily.com/15-billion-mil…

I love any feature that comes out relating to security groups, so important. This time it's sharing them across VPCs and tenants of shared VPCs: aws.amazon.com/about-aws/what…

I'm excited about reinvent next week. Let me know if you want to chat about Kuiper, either the technology or as a job option. We are looking at hiring a ton of network/security folks in a variety of field positions, product management, program, etc. 📡🛰️🚀

Product managers, if you're interested in building a new ISP from scratch reach out. Amazon's Project Kuiper is hiring a mix of program and technical product managers to start building. Seattle/DC preferred. 🛰️🚀

Nominal start to our KA-01 mission. We’ve already established contact with all 27 Kuiper satellites in orbit, and initial deployment and activation sequences are proceeding as planned. Thanks to @ULAlaunch for a successful launch – the first of many missions together.
