Good day for the Cougars at the VISAA's Virginia Live Period Shootout going 2-0. Danny Mooney led the way with 21ppg and in the first game Chason Beggerow scored 21 on 7 3’s. Ben Hager had a strong rebounding day and Jayden Smith made big plays in the second game and the game winning 3.

Just In: The Phoenix Suns will add Mike Muscala as an assistant coach, sources told HoopsHype. After 11 NBA seasons with the Hawks, Thunder, 76ers, Wizards, Celtics, Lakers and Pistons, Muscala becomes a coach at 34. Suns new head coach Jordan Ott worked with Muscala in Atlanta.
