Looking forward to live tweeting (if we can still call it that) for VoiceAbility at this event on Monday 👇 #LabourConference23

Annnndddd it’s out there! My 2nd YouTube video - a 10k PB attempt Standalone 10k 😱 If you fancy giving it a watch and let me know what you think in the YouTube comments, then I will be very grateful 😄 youtu.be/Eqjzgpb6DAY?si…

2,000+ people with a learning disability and autistic people are being detained in mental health hospitals. The average stay is 5 years. This is leading to trauma and loss of life. #UseYourPower to change this. Sign to call on Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England to improve support 👇

Thanks for bringing national attention to Eddie’s story and many others - and for highlighting VoiceAbility’s campaign. It truly is a grotesque human rights scandal which must end.

MLMC member Pam features in this important film by VoiceAbility highlighting the devastating impact having to stay in a secure hospital can have on someone with a learning disability. #UseYourPower #DontLockUsAway

So while many watched a very dull England football match, I was listening to people with learning disabilities talk about (among other things) what success means to them. I think I won tonight. And Saba Salman asking all the right questions, like the true journo pro she is!

Absolutely appalling service from Home Telecom, after being transferred from Cuckoo. Not had the internet for A MONTH after you ‘ceased’ the service in error. Only thing you’ve done proactively is charge for a service I’ve not had, despite saying otherwise. Still no update.

Great day News UK for Media Trust’s speeding pitch event - fantastic opportunity to talk about the challenges disabled people face and the work VoiceAbility is doing to support people to be heard. Fingers crossed for some news coverage 😬🤞🏼 Oh, and the tour was fun too 😅
