Parents please listen - so many freshmen are arriving on college teams AFRAID to fail rather than EXCITED to improve. Each year - less than half describe travel ball as a good experience. Please teach your daughters that being yelled at and berated by anyone is unacceptable.

I had a great day of camp this past weekend at Black Hills State. Thank you Black Hills State Softball for hosting. I had a really fun time and enjoyed the environment!! It was also great to see one of my former teammates Sydney Barner!

Thank you UNC Bears Softball for hosting an amazing softball camp this weekend! I learned so much and had such a fun time!!

Remember, what comes from defeat is totally up to the individual. You can sulk & continue to sink to the bottom. Or you can act & continue to rise. Sometimes you’ve got to fall to reach your full potential. Lessons are learned in defeat. Your mindset controls that reaction.

A pitcher's job is to get outs, no matter how its done. Too many coaches obsess over speed not realizing the best pitchers aren't always the fastest ones. If you can't win with the pitcher throwing ground balls, coach your defense better!

I LITERALLY CANNOT RETWEET THIS ENOUGH. And as a side note: outs do not equal JUST strikeouts. Pop up’s, ground balls, these are all outs. Give me a pitcher who produces a ton of outs and has a low ERA over a pitcher throwing 70 who gets rocked every day

TRAVEL BALL COACHES: PLEASE STOP PINCH RUNNING FOR PITCHERS/CATCHERS. If they are going to hit in college they have to learn to run bases. I cannot put someone in my lineup that does not know softball IQ running bases. They learn by doing it! Keep them in!
