Today I held my farewell call with PM Albin Kurti. We talked about the importance of economic development in 🇽🇰, including strengthening education and healthcare and improving the business environment. And we celebrated the special and enduring friendship between 🇽🇰 and the 🇬🇧.

Thank you for honouring me with the key to the city of Pristina, Mayor Rama. You embody the strong links between our two nations and I promise to visit for a macchiato soon! 🇬🇧 🇽🇰 🔐

My time as British Ambassador in Kosovo has come to an end. The warm welcome of the Kosovan people to a British Ambassador has made working and living here unlike any other posting I have done. This is a special place that deserves success.

Delighted my friend @NickAbbottFCDO will take over as Ambassador to Albania after I finish in mid August. Previously Ambassador to Kosovo, Nick knows the region really well and is very well-placed to take our partnership with Albania to the next level. Congratulations Nick!
