Very frustrating to hear he and his agent are determined to leave . We will never reestablish ourselves as a Prem team if we can't hold on to players like this . Sad reflection on the money mad world of football these days . No loyalty or club commitment.

Very disappointing . Enough said ! Let's hope they uncover a few more with potential to grow into prem players over the next 12 months Southampton FC

Any one else think this is a prelude to a deal already done for City to avoid a points deduction in the 115 breaches case ? They must be getting something from dropping the action. Another announcement imminent ?

Very frustrating first half performance but for once got better with each substitution so hopefully in time we will start to play from the start . Southampton FC

Same problems of last few years . 71% possession and just 4 shots on target . No creativity and always susceptible to a fast attack or set piece on our unreliable defence.

Finishing continues to be a problem for yet another season . 21 shots, Expected goals 3+ . Club recruitment remains a problem .

Storm clouds gathering over Southampton FC after another dismal performance from a team with no self belief and no cutting edge. 4 league wins since the Play off final tells us it is a long term problem that needs solving .

Surely the Competition and market authority would block the merger of the largest UK Ad supported channel with largest UK pay platform ? Can't be in interests of the majority of TV viewers.

Extraordinary to see third ex Saints manager to be sacked already this season . Another indictment of Sport Republic manager recruitment process . Hope they do better this time .

Nick Humby (@nick_humby) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Extraordinary !! They obviously had a good international break but shied their was something seriously amiss under Still leadership !

What a pleasure to be at St Mary's last night for the first half . Still don't understand how we have gone from not looking like we can ever score under Still to now looking likely to score every time we have the ball! Remarkable !@SouthamptonFC

Had the privilege of travelling to Baikonur Cosmodrome in 1996 for launch of Astra 1F Satelitte . It was an extraordinary experience so interested to read this article . independent.co.uk/space/russia-l…

Thought I would try Level 1 at St Mary's pre match Southampton FC but nearly all tables reserved 90 minutes before game, no online food orders and lager pump was off . Not a great start !!

Exhilarating first half followed by a very nervy second half where we regressed to inaccurate passing and panicky defence . At least all the action was in front of the Chapel Stand! But from where we were on 1st November it’s a delight!
