In wake of confirmation that NHS nurses have voted for strike action across the majority of UK employers, Nursing Times would like to know how nurses are feeling about the result and impending action? Please leave your responses below which may be used to inform a news story

Life is different if you don’t depend on our NHS or state schools. If you don’t need to travel by train or bus to get to work. If you swish through airports in private lounges. If you’ve never worried about losing your job, or paying the rent. Their Britain isn’t broken. Ours is.

So angry & disappointed at the continued disregard for the profession. Who is this man? Very out of touch & admits has no idea about nurse education! - brilliant expert from a different field! Wonder if barristers are appraised by firemen? 🤔

While the cost of everything has gone up, nursing pay has not. The end result? Thousands of nursing staff driven out of the profession because they can't afford the basics. #FairPayForNursing protects the nursing profession and the public.

The RCN RCN is selling out. Not representing its members. We wanted representation to seek fair pay. There’s nothing fair about another real terms pay cut. To recommend we get less is such an insult. I’m so glad I rejected the pay deal

The RCN What a bizarre statement. The only difference it has made is to induce fury & disappointment towards the RCN! This will have no effect on patient safety & encourages more RNs to leave the NHS. Take a page from other unions who do better for their members

The RCN By publicly asking us to accept this below inflation rate pay cut, you’ve said to the public that when we vote reject (which we are doing) we’re just selfish and greedy people who are asking for too much, and not just asking for fair pay and safe staffing #VoteReject
