my best friends in primary school were lowkey homophobic, “gays shouldn’t marry” etc so i told them i was gay. i didn’t even know i was queer yet, i just knew they had more love for me than homophobia. once they were like “ok gay people are cool” i was like SYKE NO I’M NOT
