The South Eastern Trust dysphagia project allows residents living with dysphagia access to fortified drinks and puddings. This increases energy and protein intake in those at risk of malnutrition, reduces reliance on supplements and empowers care staff to support their residents’ nutrition.

In South Eastern Trust dietitians are working with nursing home colleagues to implement the InHealth tele monitoring system which speeds up nutrition data collection and facilitates ‘at base’ review of residents who are nutritionally at risk. #dietitiansweek2025 British Dietetic Association
