The results from the first ever National Diabetes Experience Survey will be published on 10 December 2024, helping NHS leaders to make informed decisions about how to best support people living with diabetes and to design diabetes services based on what really matters to them.

As #DiabetesAwarenessMonth draws to an end, we look at an #NIHRfunded evaluation which found referring people with pre-diabetes to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme lowered their risk of type 2 diabetes by 20%, meaning 30,000+ of 1.2m participants avoided developing diabetes.
