The Ghana - Norway Cultural Exchange Programme, which was in partnership with Infinity Events, Kyei – Boateng Communications, International Theatre Institute-Ghana Chapter, Alan Showbiz, and Asor Bodyworks was officially launched in February, 2025.

Ghana made the first partial submission on the Highlife Music and Dance Dossier in April, 2025 to be enlisted on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity as the creative output of the Ghanaian people in 2023.

In April, 2025, the National Folklore Board supported Artlife Matters to organize a four-day Finding My Authenticity (FiMA) workshop to inspire young minds to explore and appreciate their cultural heritage through the power of artistic expressions.

The National Folklore Board has launched the storytelling series “By The Fire Side” to promote story telling nationwide. The storytelling will be held at the end of every month in various communities. Enrich your knowledge in Ghanaian folklore by patronizing the programme.

World Folklore Day 2025 was celebrated with a storytelling programme and other folklore activities at ViVie’s Dance and Theatre Academy in Accra. The National Folklore Board chose to bring the programme to the doorstep of families since it helps teach moral values in society.
