As part of our response to the socio-economic effects of Covid-19, we donated to Paddington Academy. With this, 52 laptops were purchased. In May, 23% of Year 7 students were completing & submitting up to 70% of their assignments. This increased to 41% by the end of July. #education
Since 2017, Empower Malawi has provided lighting for 140 primary schools in the District. Since December 2020, solar lighting systems have been installed on 51 new schools – this will expose 22,326 students to solar energy for the first time. Located here: bit.ly/3bzQVdH
We are delighted to share the news that Winnie and Bradley have now completed their studies with top grades: Bradley received 3 A*s and 1 A, and Winne received 3 A*s, which will hopefully secure them incredible scholarships for university next year. Makomborero #Scholarships
Last year, we planted over 38,000 trees across three projects with One Tree Planted. One project centered on alleviating the damage caused by Cyclone Fani in India and involved planting trees to restore the sustainable livelihoods of the small-holder farmers in the state of Odisha
We have partnered with Istituto Oikos Onlus to replace diesel water pumps with solar-powered water pumps in two rural villages, Ndedo and Irkiushioibor, in the Region of Manyara, Tanzania.

We are installing two solar-powered community owned and managed water purification systems with Bala Vikasa in two rural villages in the Telangana State, India. The 2 villages where the systems will be implemented were selected because of the poor existing water quality.
