Sadly there are several reasons that the capercaillie have reached the perilous state they are now in.However there is one we could stop now & that’s human disturbance. Wildlife photographers, bird watchers, walkers,mountain bikers, dog walkers, please just give the caper space.

Interesting that a Green Party minister is promoting the destruction of an iconic Scottish species, by removing selective management.
