Did you know? The 5-year survival rate of stage 1 #ColorectalCancer diagnosis is over 90%, but just 14% for those diagnosed at stage 4 During #ColonCancerAwarenessMonth we want to highlight the importance of early detection and treatment 💙 Learn more: olympus.co.uk/medical/en/Col…

Farrukh 1) You have to pay for something you have already paid 2) The new service will not bring in more medical staff it will take them from #NHS 3) Loosing the ambulance drivers to the ‘new’ service will make NHS respond time even longer 4) More people will be forced to turn private

It's puzzling that people blame "the NHS" for the state it's in. It's not a religion, simply a mechanism for paying for universal care (tax funded, free at the point of need, largely publicly provided). The main reasons it can't cope with demand, in no particular order are... 1.

Do you remember when routine appt - see within 6 weeks of referral , scan and report within another 6 , 90 percent of patients had surgery within 18 weeks of referral ?

Tom Swarbrick LBC @HelenRSalisbury Thank you, Tom. Thank you for giving this issue coverage. It is very important and it has been introduced in a haphazard manner. A bit of mission creep, trusts getting PA's to do more than their scope of practice.

I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world. NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.

Prof Alison Leary 💙#ProtectNurse @DaveParaACCP_AA The tragedy, and absurdity, of this is the fact that PAs are already well established in clinical practice and providing a safe and effective contribution to the MDT delivery of healthcare. What next? An aggressive SoMe campaign against ANPs, ACCPs, PHE paramedics🤔

Why are some people more interested in Keir's donated suit ( declared properly) and are not interested in Jenrick being given £75 000 from a company that is based on a tax-haven island and has no employees. I find that quite odd. Immagine if it had been the other way round

Irene 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇮🇱🇺🇲👑🚜🚜🚜 I think you will find this was pretty much agreed under the Tory government, all this talk of sovereign land and being ‘ours’ is a bit odd these islands are in the middle of the Indian Ocean and we evicted all the occupants, not really ours were they?

Professor Azeem Majeed They pledge to and sometimes build new hospitals but forget to tell you that they’ve reduced bed capacity. Our lovely little community hospitals have closed and in the result loosing wards full of beds. Privatising elderly care has compounded this issue too!
