Four years ago, almost to the day. Started banging this drum for Calipari and have continued to bang it for Pope. A program of Kentucky’s status and means — and aspirations — not having a GM (and frankly, a full scouting/roster management staff) is simply malpractice in 2026.

So that's V8s for Mercedes, Cadillac and Ford which covers 12 of the current grid. Just book it for 2030 or even 2029 and we'll suffer the mess we've got for three or four seasons without complaining ... too much!

At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I really don't think you can overstate the level of urgency the Kentucky staff should feel when it comes to Milan Momcilovic. Landing him is, in my opinion, the ONLY chance to have a season that would resemble "understanding the assignment."

Milan Momcilovic averaged 16.9 points per game last season at Iowa State. The 6'8" forward shot 132-279 (48.7%) from 3. That is hard to even comprehend. He is the PERFECT piece to round out Kentucky's roster. SPEND ON STARS!!! Go get it done.
