Students are getting career focused experience in Mrs. Carter’s room in Career Explorations. I’m encouraging them to look into our choice high schools in Guilford County Schools.

Thank you Guilford County Schools for inviting us to cheer at the Unity Day Celebration. Our cheerleaders did a fantastic job and were grateful to celebrate in something that helps to prevent bullying in the district.

What an amazing Title 1 night that was in combination with our first Trunk or Treat event. We had community support, district support and staff support. It was a fun evening! Even Officer Friendly stopped by!!

Thank you to all that donated to our Western NC hurricane holiday relief effort. We will be distributing the items to Watauga School District on Tuesday.

Our annual Data and Desserts was even better than expected last night. It was a great chance for parents, students, and teachers to talk about each students’ data and how they can get to their goals. Great job everyone on a successful event.

Great day for some of young ladies and NEMS first Girl’s Summit. The keynote was Guilford County’s District Attorney, Mrs. Kelly Thompson.

It’s called a Labor of Love. Campus Beautification was today and we had parents, students and staff show up to help make our campus look great before our students come back!!
