Congratulations to one of our former opponents, Cam of Walpole Post 104, who pitched a great game to win his debut for the Yankees last night. Cam's father, John, played for Post 14 in the 1980s and coached here from 1998-2001, and he is now the Needham Police chief.

Nice to get back on the winning track last night, 6-2 at Sharon, behind five strong innings from Jason Waarich and a couple hits from Will Lavelle. Keep it going!

Post 14 stays alive, with an exciting 5-4 win over Weymouth today in nine innings. Excellent outing from Jason Waarich - seven innings, ten strikeouts, no walks. Will Saratella with the home run to take the lead in the top of the ninth and pitching two innings for the win.

Survive and advance. Post 14 is a 4-2 winner over a good Hingham team, behind a complete game from Liam Fitzmaurice and some manufactured runs. We stay on to play North Attleboro Post 49 half an hour from now. A win will force a winner take all championship tomorrow.

What a game. 7-2 over North Attleboro after trailing 2-1 in the 7th, and it looked like we couldn't get the best of North Attleboro's outstanding pitcher Nick Daley. Then Will Saratella puts down a beautiful bunt for a hit to start the seventh...

Then Colin O'Donnell doubles him in to tie it, Ryan Volante is safe on a sacrifice, David Ching works a walk, Brendan McHugh hits a sac fly for the lead, and later Garrett Falahee blows it open with a triple. Will Saratella also went the distance on the mound for the win.

A tough loss, 8-5 to North Attleboro yesterday, and that will bring down the curtain on Post 14's 2025 season. A nice run in the playoffs with three thrilling wins to get to yesterday's championship. Good luck to North Attleboro Post 49 representing District 6 in the Massachusetts State Legion Baseball Tournament.

Special thanks and good luck to Connor Falahee, Liam Fitzmaurice, Adam Hess, Will O'Donnell, Will Saratella, and Jason Waarich, who completed their American Legion eligibility. They gave us many great moments, and they are a credit to their families and to this community.
