Wearing a big, giddy grin. She’s just finished with a three-day work binge, and needless to say she is exhausted. But at least she’s no longer miserable, thanks to Arachne. “Hi you.”

Arachne’s worry, though appreciated, had the necromancer purse her lips and roll her eyes. “It’s only been three days.” Which, compared to her record, wasn’t her long at all. “Don’t stress over me.”

And suddenly Varda went from an unhealthy pale to red. Afterwards she was left blinking in silence for a few moments, before her giddy grin returned again. “You know you can’t make me.” It was as much of a challenge as it was a statement.

“You know,” she reached up and gently pushed on Arachne’s chin with her pointer finger, “I go three days without seeing you, and now you want me to go to bed and not see you for a few more hours.” Varda forced a pout, which was exaggerated in order to stick. “It’s no fair.”

“Of course I want that,” she cooed, lowering her finger from Arachne’s chin. Now that she had experienced resting in the other’s arms, she could accept no other substitute. She was spoiled. “Though, you’ll have to carry me there.”

“You haven’t.” Had Arachne ever done so, it would have presented an opportunity for Varda to not call on her to be carried anymore. That would have been no good for either of them. Varda, leaned against the other Warlock, yawned quietly. “Not yet, at least.”

Climbing 𝕬𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖍𝖓𝖊-17 {hiatus}

The little necromancer held the bite a few moments before finally releasing the Exo. “Good morning.”

“What was what about?” Varda perfectly content with playing dumb, even if just this once. There is no suitable explanation for what just happened. At least, not suitable in the sense that Varda did not want to delve into the reasons.

“I have.” As much as she would eat on any other given day: some crackers and maybe a piece of fruit. And though she seems as exhausted as ever, at least she’s smiling.

“We can do that,” answered the necromancer with a hum, “but only if you carry me there.” Either she was so tired she was liable to fall, or she just wanted to be a brat about it.
