Happy Hispanic Heritage Month We met with Neal scholar and families to tell them about program. It was a great night of Music , Dance and Knowledge.

Battle Ready!!! Battle of the Books Tryouts were today. Our Scholars were ready for the battle. We going to take the Championship Home in March with this great group minds leading the way !!!

Our Last Fieldtrip to NCSU. The AIG Scholars invited Guest Scholars to go with them. It was the BEST TIME HAD !!!

When hard works pays off. After talking to their peers about their experiences of working NCSU PHD students and Dr. Gray this school year. The 7th Grade AIG Students designed their "Ideal Learning Space". It included indoor and outdoor spaces.

Our Scholars learned that the drum is used in the African American Cultural Center to Announce your coming and going. We all announced our departure using the drum in our own unique sound.

Congratulations to Our NEAL Scholars for winning the African-American Quiz Bowl held at NCSU against Shepard Middle.

We have been a little busy here at Neal Middle School with our partnerships with the NCSU MSEN and I-Scholar programs this 2023-2024 school year. These programs have produced awesome experiences for our AIG Scholars at Neal Middle School.

Our Neal Middle AIG scholars participated in the MSEN Day 2024 competition.

Neal AIG I-Scholars presented the projects that they created with the NCSU I-scholar team at the American Educational Research Association in Philadelphia Pa. They also got to visit the Smithsonian African American Museum in Washington D.C.
