Students at Nazarbayev University in #Astana know it firsthand: The challenge isn’t getting information — it’s knowing what to believe. #Disinformation is an assault on trust, on truth, on democracy itself. The way forward? A new Council of Europe Convention on Disinformation and Foreign Influence.

Constitutional and other reforms have given new impetus to #Kazakhstan. We’re taking Council of Europe–Kazakhstan cooperation to the next level. Commitment to rule of law was central to my exchange with MFA Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. I invited him to Strasbourg to continue the dialogue.
