Today 1st June 2025 took place a workshop at University of Rwanda Remera Campus under the AFRETEC Project titled “ Improving Digital Education &Learning Innovation in the South African & Rwandan teacher Education Systems.
Trainers were faculty members from Wits University, SA: Prof. Juliet Perumal, Prof. Leketi Makalela, Prof. Emmanuel Ojo &Prof. Reuben Dlamini &Rwandan counterparts: Dr. Innocent Twagilimana, Assoc. Prof. Epimaque Niyibizi, Assoc. Prof. Irenee Ndayambaje &Dr. Olivier Habimana.

The workshop brings together LEAD-ESD partners from 🇷🇼 Rwanda, 🇰🇪 Kenya, 🇺🇬 Uganda & 🇸🇨 Seychelles. It was officially opened by officials from Kenya’s Ministry of Education, Kenyatta University VC, and senior representatives from UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 & UNICEF Kenya.
