We are live at the National Conference on Citizenship Annual Conference on Citizenship in Washington, DC at the beautiful Planet Word Museum Museum! Thrilled to gather with so many #CivxNow partners and friends in the field to learn together and discuss this year’s theme, “Renewing Civic Health.”

So grateful to have AmeriCorps CEO Michael Smith join us for #NCoC2024 to share what volunteering data can teach us about civic life and how we participate in communities! AmeriCorps CEO

Great to see AmeriCorps ‘s Michael Smith talk about the work with National Conference on Citizenship to look at volunteer data and pipeline to social capital growth. The national volunteer rate has 5% increased since the pandemic. Funding is essential, but we can’t solely “staff” a healthy democracy.

So excited to have Service Year in the building as well for #NCoC2024! #NationalService

Last night’s presentation of the inaugural “Graham Award for exemplary public service” to the wonderful Daniella Levine Cava. It was an honor to present this award to a dear friend and fellow Miamian. Thank you to the National Conference on Citizenship for establishing this recognition in Dad’s honor.

"It is the work of young people that ultimately makes our world worth inheriting." -Emily Nguyen At National Conference on Citizenship, our Youth Civic Solutions Competition winners presented innovative ideas to tackle pressing issues like voter engagement and media literacy among #GenZ.

Trust in our institutions has sharply declined. What is driving this erosion of trust, and how can we restore faith in institutions to help repair the fabric of society? Allan Carey, @rosenjeffrey, Elaine Kamarck & Peter Goettler discuss #ProjectSphere: projectsphere.org/episode/how-do…

Excellent job OregonServes Commission! 👏
