We have adjusted our fire risk level and will now be allowing nighttime open air burning. Fires 2x2x2 metres can be lit 2 hours before sunset and extinguished 2 hours after sunrise. Permits are required, please obtain one at naw.burnpermits.com

Reminding everyone that there is NO DAY TIME burning permitted. You can light your fire 2hrs before sunset and it has to be completely extinguished 2hrs after sunrise. If you are going to have a fire this weekend, please be responsible and have water, rakes and shovels nearby.

North Algona Wilberforce Township has suspended all fire permits. There will be no open air fires allowed within the Township. Small camp fires 2x2x2 are still permitted. Please remember to burn wisely.

NAW Fire Department has lifted the fire permit suspension. Residences are allowed to have open air burns (6x6x6) 2-hours before sunset and extinguish the fire 2-hours after sunrise, weather permitting, with a permit. Campfires 2x2x2 are also permitted. Please burn responsibly!
