First night fishing trip for the cats this year went well with Kevin Pearce and Mr Hull.One of my 3 fish went 53lb,2 forty’s for Kev and a 50 for Mr Hull in braving are lovely British weather.

Back out with the boys after the cats.12 cats between us and 2 carp.Nice to see young Max do a new PB at 21lb 11 Kevin Pearce Great time had by all.

Finally my club lakes are back open after 6 months of being shut due to the floods.So bank holiday weekend well spent with a few fish and sun.Fishing fix sorted.

That cold snap last week certainly didn’t help with the fishing.But did manage these two.

Overnight cat trip went well with Kevin Pearce and his son Max.We all caught which is always nice and a new PB for Max at 38lb 12oz.Well done boy 👍🏻

It’s been a very long time since I’ve sat behind a barbel rod.So couldn’t wait to get back on the banks of the Kennet early this morning and what a result with this beauty.Can’t wait to give it another go now.

Decided to go and sit behind the carp rods for the first time this year.A sharp frost this morning but didn’t put this one off from feeding.Well please as it’s a low stocked pool which can easily catch you out with a blank.

What better way to spend June the 16th on old father Thames with my old mate AndyDeacon aboard his boat.A great catch up with lots of fish between us.Cheers boy 👍🏻
