And don't forget that the state already has a $3.5 billion structural deficit this year--that Governor Josh Shapiro's unserious spending proposal would balloon to more than $5 billion, requiring a tax hike of at least $2,000 per family.

I spoke to Lowman Henry on Lincoln Radio Journ discussing the push for another SEPTA bailout and the latest on the Pennsylvania state budget. Listen here: buff.ly/73duG2P

Did you know Governor Josh Shapiro proposes transferring $1.6 billion from the Rainy Day Fund to fuel deficit spending—in defiance of current state law? Stop Shapiro's spending spree! Taxpayers deserve a budget that doesn't spend more than the state takes in.

Work requirements for welfare programs have a proven record of success. So why is Governor Josh Shapiro standing in the way of helping more people get back to work and onto private health insurance? cc: NathanBenefield

Reminder that Governor Josh Shapiro's unserious budget proposal creates a $5+ billion structural deficit that illegally drains the state's emergency savings and will require a tax hike of more than $2,000 per family.

The IFO reduced it's official estimate by $625 million--that's $44.6 billion (or $6.9 billion less than Governor Josh Shapiro proposed spending). Counting the proposed SEPTA bailout creates a $7.1 billion deficit. Massive tax hikes in 2026 if Shapiro's budget would become law.
