The path of progress goes via *extremely* well designed contracts

Contracting takes up a surprising amount of time for hardtech builders. We’re publishing Frontier’s offtake template (iterated on over $300M+ in carbon removal deals) with the hope it might help other builders/buyers save valuable time.

This is amazing. I’m a firm believer that a barrier to growth of clean energy is the lack of standardized contracts. The more contracts out in the world, the more that we can align with comparable terms. No more “I’ve never reviewed this type of contract before” delays.

Standardizing contracts and creating market norms for startups pioneering early stage technologies remains one of the more powerful tools for accelerating innovation. Exciting to see this effort from Frontier.
