My lifelong friend Vonette Bright would have been 99 today. So grateful for older women who love Christ and have spoken wisdom and encouragement into my life since I was a little girl. Vonette went Home to be with the Lord, just seven weeks after traveling to our wedding.

“If children [of God], then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” (Romans 8:17) Stop and think about that! In the end — all that is His is ours. We will never lack. We are rich beyond measure. Our future is secure. Forever. It doesn’t get any better than this.
