City of Nampa’s Planning & Zoning Dept. is excited to announce the launch of the Comprehensive Plan update, “Nampa 2050: Planning Our Future Together.” The Comp. Plan is a community-informed policy document that will guide decision-making and investments over the next 25 years.

Following last week’s workshops, a revised copy of the FY 2026 budget will be available for public review by 5pm Monday, August 4. With just three weeks until the official public hearing, we invite you to review the budget on cityofnampa.us/finance and send us your comments!

Join us Thursday, August 7 from 5-7 PM at the Idaho Hispanic Community Center (315 Stampede Drive). We are gathering more community input on options being explored for the Ford Idaho Center. Interested citizens are invited to participate in an in-depth conversation and activity.

In April, the city tracked red light running: over 2,500 red lights were run per day in Nampa. The intersection of Idaho Center and Franklin averaged over 300 red light runners per day. Please join the City of Nampa in making a commitment that can save lives: Always Stop On Red.
