📽️✨ We're excited to share our newest video! Join researcher Jun Lin of Tyndall Institute UCC Ireland as we go behind the scenes and into the lab with the scientists exploring materials for use in new #greenenergy applications 👩🔬♻️ Learn more at: bit.ly/45yWUbx Horizon Europe 🇪🇺
🆕📰 Check out our latest blog post! We meet Dara Fitzpatrick and the team at BARDS Acoustic Science Labs. Learn how BASL is deploying a novel acoustic spectroscopic technology, to optimise processes in the #FreeHydroCells project 🔬💪 ➡️ Read more here: freehydrocells.eu/meet-the-team-…
🔍TRANSLATE researcher Ievgen Nedrygailov found these sources of low-grate waste heat around the Sustainability Institute. Imagine the possibilities when we can recover, repurpose and store this lost heat! Learn more about our innovation 👉translate-energy.eu ⚡
Our researcher Ievgen Nedrygailov captured students in front of UCC Ireland Boole Library generating 60 (at rest) to 250 (during brisk walking) watts of energy. This means TRANSLATE's ionic thermoelectric device can one day enable people to charge their phones or even laptops by simply walking!
This day last week we were wrapping up at this year's Enlit Europe. Here's a short highlight video of us 1⃣Having insightful conversations with experts in the field 2⃣Taking part in a panel discussion on #EnergyTransition 3⃣Sharing results from our work on #wasteheat recovery.
What a day at the AMBER event today interacting with 8 bright TY students at Sustainability Institute! Thanks Dr. Mairead Holden for the opportunity to inspire the next gen in sustainability research. "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" - Nelson Mandela
🆕 New blog post live on our website 🚨 Featuring FreeHydroCells' presentation at the Materials Research Society (MRS) Fall Meeting 2023 🇺🇸 👉 Read more and view the presentation here: freehydrocells.eu/2023-mrs-fall-… Horizon Europe 🇪🇺 #greenhydrogen
