Lots of disingenuous people here seem to think a driver is doing nothing wrong using their phone at a set of lights. The assumption drivers have a superhuman power to be able to both use their phone and be totally aware of their surroundings simultaneously is laughable.

Your friendly reminder that cyclists must stop at red lights. If however you find you are cycling too fast or are more important than other road users just give them a bell to let the other road users know their place so you have priority at red lights and barrel right on through

Seems like a relatively quiet morning today for the Police running an operation to catch red light runners at Bank Junction in the City of London. I waited for 15 mins to try and get at least one heinous cyclist on film getting busted but it seems that not all cyclists run reds

I used to encounter only around 10-15 people the entire journey cycling the #Cycleway4 route from Lewisham to the City of London back in 2004 Back then it was the stereotype lycra wearing males who were the only brave ones Look at people using it now that the route is far safer

Private Hire standards are improving. This driver demonstrates their knowledge of the new road hierarchy by driving at the cyclist instead of elderly pedestrian. Now we just need a bit of multi-tasking practice so they can also stop at the Give Ways and our roads can be safer

A few on here would have you believe the City of London is dying off because you can't drive a car right through the middle of it..... Hold my beer 🍺

Reminder to all that the The Green Party recently voted to restrict kids to cycling on the roads with these buses on Bus Services (No.2) Bill at the House of Lords. How they expect parents to leave the cars behind voting by proxy to ban infrastructure like #cycleway4 is beyond me.

The sad thing is for the 4 people injured it could have been any of us, even if we were in a licensed black taxi The comments here do terrible harm to the reputations of those good drivers in the trade. There's some marketing geniuses commenting here. metro.co.uk/2025/04/10/fou…

A gentle reminder that it's cyclists from LTNs that are responsible for the increase in pollution on boundary roads. This "selfish" minority of middle aged white hobbyists are supposedly murdering children from their increased emissions coming out of their bicycle exhausts /S

Some anti-cycleway accounts claim bus lanes are perfectly safe for cyclists of all ages and abilities, eliminating the need for cycleways that incorporate floating bus stops. Would you let your 6 year old cycle here? Without cycleways, where would you let them cycle?

Greg N (@n00dles71) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It doesn't bode well when our Transport Minister believes allowing vehicles to drive through again is a compromise while still calling this an LTN. Not only is being able to haul a fridge is a good compromise, let's go for the whole shop. Apologies for mixing up rule H2 with H3.

This #LondonsFinest cabbie should be grateful for the cycle lane, or I’d have been closer to his window, and he’d now be jobless. Peter Harris was killed cycling here by a distracted driver like this careless cabbie using his phone while driving over the speed limit in the wet.

To the floating bus stop haters. If your solution puts cyclists and buses in the same lane, it’s not a solution. Forcing some of the most vulnerable road users to share space with the biggest, most time-pressured vehicles isn’t safe, it’s a design failure.

David Poblet, aged 20, was killed by a lorry at this exact spot on the 22nd March 2011. It was a horrendous junction that has been totally transformed by #Cycleway4. Social Environmental Justice and other floating bus stop haters either want these children in cars as traffic or under a truck
