Dear councils, If you don't overmow or spray roadverges and green corners this year, you'll get wildflowers like foxgloves - a lifeline for pollinating insects like bees. Biodiversity is better than non-essential 'neat & tidy'. Let's bring nature back ๐Ÿ

The UK is ranked as 12th lowest of 240 countries for biodiversity. Yes, you read that right! Therefore #nature needs all the help it can get & it starts in our own #gardens. So, dig that #pond, put up that bird box, plant those native wildflowers & letโ€™s help #wildlife in 2023๐Ÿ‘

We're losing wildlife. Frogs, butterflies, bumblebees, hedgehogs, moths, bats, insects, birds are all declining. But if more of us take positive actions for biodiversity in our gardens, communities, landscapes and towns, we can help nature bounce back. Who's in? #BiodiversityDay

'A fab wild dog sighting of a pack of about 14 with a hyena following closely behind. They did attempt a run at some impalas at one point in the Bush but were unsuccessful. We were out with Ranger David on an afternoon game drive.' Martin Image by Jock guest Martin

With warmer weather forecast, help wildlife by providing water for drinking and bathing. Bees need to drink too - many natural water sources are too deep or fast-flowing for insects, so a bee bowl could be a real lifeline. More ideas: bit.ly/42TSmM0 #nature #pollinators
