Today we'll get more snow showers.  It's a lake effect pattern, so some people will see a trace...some will see several inches.  Highs in the 20s for most towns.  The wind could create travel troubles.  Gusts to 30 mph from the northwest will cause blowing and drifting snow.

Tonight...more snow and wind.  Gusts to 30 mph will be common, but the wind direction will shift to the southwest.  Snow totals will be another inch or two for some towns.  Lows from 18 to 28 degrees.

Wednesday we'll see more snow, but it's not all lake effect.  What's called a clipper will come thru the region.  Clippers are fast moving snow showers.  Important to know because we all get snow...not just those in the lake effect zones.  Highs will be mostly in the 30s.

Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy.  Wind 10 to 20 mph.  Lows from the middle 20s to middle 30s. Thursday...snow showers in the eastern Upper Peninsula...maybe a flurry in the Lower.  Mostly cloudy sky.  Wind gusts over 30 mph.  Highs from the middle 30s to low 40s.

Friday...partly sunny.  Highs mainly in the 30s.  A few towns could see 40 degrees. Saturday will be partly sunny.  Highs from the low 30s to low 40s.  Wind 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday...light, scattered snow showers in the eastern Upper Peninsula...maybe a flurry in the Lower.  However, most of us in northern Michigan get no snow at all.  Partly sunny.  Wind gusts over 25 mph from the west or southwest.  Highs from the middle 30s to low 40s.

Saturday will be partly sunny.  Scattered light snow is possible south of Cadillac.  Highs from the low 30s to low 40s.  Wind 5 to 15 mph.

Saturday night the chance for precipitation rises.  Mainly snow showers are expected, but some rain could be mixed with the snow.  Lows from the middle 20s to middle 30s. Sunday...look for snow mixed with rain.  Highs from the middle 30s to low 40s.  Wind 5 to 15 mph.

Today will be one of the warmer days we've had lately.  Highs will range from 38 to 45 degrees around northern Michigan.  We'll get a little sun thru the clouds, and there could be a quick rain or snow shower in the Upper Peninsula.

Friday will be mostly cloudy kind of day.  Snow showers are going to pass thru the southern third of the Lower Peninsula, but most of us don't see a flake.  Light wind from the north 5 to 15 mph.  Highs in the 30s.

Friday night a passing snow shower is possible.  Lows mostly in the 20s.  Light wind from the northeast 5 to 15 mph. Saturday look for lots of clouds and a little sun.  Light snow showers are possible in the southern Lower Peninsula.  Light wind.  Highs in the 30s.
