This morning, alongside PS Eng. Joseph Mbugua, I joined Waziri KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN, E.G.H for a status meeting with Mombasa County leaders. During our discussion, we focused on various projects within the county aimed at making impactful improvements for the residents.

This morning, accompanied by KRC Chairman Mr. Abdi Duale and KRC MD Mr. Philip Mainga, I inspected the twenty (20) new Madaraka Express Passenger Service coaches at the port of Mombasa.

As schools reopen, all road users are urged to prioritize the safety of children traveling to and from school by adhering to the Highway Code, reducing speed, and driving cautiously. All vehicles transporting children should be roadworthy, have valid insurance, and be fitted with

speed limiters. NTSA Mobile App can verify public service vehicles' compliance before allowing children to board. Non-compliant vehicles and reckless drivers should be reported to authorities. Road safety is a shared responsibility of all road users. #UsalamaBarabarani #slowdown
