Very nice to see the work between MuscleX_Lab at Illinois Tech and RegnierLab F Moussavi-Harami, MD at University of Washington finally published in Journal of General Physiology. It has been a very long and productive collaboration and more papers in the making!!!

Here is a great opportunity for a PhD in Muscle Biophysics/Physiology in London Physiology at KCL School of Basic & Medical Biosciences kcl-mrcdtp.com/project/myosin…

Job opportunity: MuscleX_Lab's Weikang Ma and myself over Accelerated Muscle Biotechnologies are looking to create an "industry postdoc" position. Part time work for IIT/BioCAT and part time work for AMB. All publishable research science with potential of independent research. DM us if interested!

We are glad to share that we got all the beam we expected from the new Advanced Photon Source into our experimental hutch, ~4 × 10^13 photons/sec at 250um ×250 um unfocused. We expect to welcome users back in the near future after the scientific commissioning.

Congrats Vivek Jani well deserved

Very productive run at Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source with Vivek Jani and Marcus. We collect patterns from human heart tissue (HFpEF, HFrEF, HCM, SVD) probably for the first time ever there, and more patterns from animal hearts. Looking forward to come back soon!!!

It was very nice to welcome our muscle users Anthony Hessel, PhD Michel Kühn Vivek Jani back after two years for Advanced Photon Source upgrade. BioCAT remains the state-of-art facility for muscle X-ray diffraction. Proposal for next run due in two days!
