When he was rescued he came into the shelter really messed up. Almost on death's door messed up.

The whole ordeal has left Murphy quite tired. He's sleeping.

Quick Murphy update: he's still pretty sleepy (he's asleep on my shoulder as I post this) but he's eating good, drinking plenty of water and is moving good too

I've been asked in private about setting up a GFM for Murphy but I don't know what kind of care he would need, if it would help him, or the cost of that. Does anyone have an input?

Murphy passed away in my arms.

Murphy was an amazing cat. Never met a cat like him. He deeply touched my heart and I hope he touched your heart too. With this post I am retiring this account and keeping it up as a memorial for the greatest one ear'd cat this side of the Mississippi.

It's been a long time since I posted on here because I wanted to leave this as a memorial to an amazing cat but I also wanted to share that there are new disciples of Murphy. His legacy continues.
