Omg. Just realised, 2 weeks late, that I could’ve applied for THE Boston Marathon next year, with nearly 8 mins to spare, & would’ve safely cleared the cut-off by nearly 3 mins 😫 Didn’t know the qualifying times are for age NEXT YEAR! 🙈 Holding out for a GFA slot at London 🙏

Just occasionally, running feels awful. Stitch, felt sick, kept having to stop… the “just give up” voice won today without a fight 🥴 Took the off-ramp and looped home way earlier than planned, and even then 4 miles felt like a marathon 😆 Will try again tomorrow 🤷‍♀️

With nowt in the calendar to train for all I’ve done lately is jog 😐Stepped on the gas just for a mile today to see what was in the tank and smashed my record by 18 seconds! 🤠

Enjoyed this 🏃‍♀️ The sun gradually broke through the mist to make for a beautiful afternoon 😎 Garmin malfunctioned at the end and went psychedelic! Never seen it produce any of these colours before 😆 🤷‍♀️ 🌈

One of the best books I’ve ever read. A lucky find on a hotel bookshelf in Crete. One of those books you can’t stop thinking about & that stay with you forever. An absolutely harrowing story of the horrors of living under Nazi occupation—but also of love & nature. Lest we forget.
