A1: It's very important to know the likes and dislikes of your high ability Ss, like all Ss. It's difficult to challenge them if you don't know them well. #mpcschat

A2: Some say the giftedness is epigenetic. That the exposure matters and that it can show on different timelines. #mpcschat

What types of experiences allow students to show their skills? #mpcschat

A3: Choice is definitely key! Also, open ended opportunities where they can take tasks to their level. #mpcschat

A3: I also think Ss need the freedom to test their boundaries. Strong relationships create safe space to fail and try new things. #mpcschat

How can we expose ALL students to higher level thinking skills? #mpcschat

A4: I think it all starts with believing that ALL Ss are capable. So often we hear Ts say my Ss can't do that. We count them out before they get a chance to try.#mpcschat

How do you work to develop talent in special pops? #mpcschat

A5: Yes, relationships! Both with Ss and with other Ts who specialize in our Spec. Pops Ss needs. #mpcschat
