Reflecting on a busy week when the Leadership College for Government team has launched new cohorts of talented leaders on several programmes. The views walking to the Cabinet Office London and Bristol offices were pretty good too!
Great to have spent time this week with an impressive cohort of leaders from across the public sector doing the new Leadership College for Government Leading Collaborative Organisations programme. And to have visited our alumnus Steve Taylor to see collaborative leadership in action in Bristol today.
Always enjoy speaking with leaders who are thinking about their next career steps. Fantastic questions about Leadership College for Government programmes and broader issues facing those in leading roles in the Civil Service at this session today.
I've heard Leora Cruddas CBE speak about leadership before as part of Leadership College for Government work so am unsurprised to read her thoughtful and considered views on her own leadership as well as what it means more generally to be a good leader.
Thank you to Beth Russell and other leaders DEC for hosting a day of thoughtful Leadership College for Government discussions about leadership, collaboration and how to do both well across the civil service, the wider public sector and across the whole of the UK.
