A beast-worthy season means that a Beast of the Meet was bound to happen! Our Beast of the Meet for Illinois Club Relays is Charlotte Batra! Charlotte ran three races at the University of Illinois and put up two top-ten all-time performances. Great work, Charlotte!

Starting today, we will be moving practice back to 5 PM Monday through Friday at IM West. We also plan to continue using Jenison Fieldhouse at 7 PM on Tuesdays for the foreseeable future, so feel free to attend either practice on Tuesdays. Weekends will continue to be OYO.

Hey all, if you are interested in running for an officer position on the MSU Running Club E-Board, please make sure that you have your declaration submitted by tonight at 11:59pm! If you are unsure if you have submitted your declaration or not, please contact an E-Board member.

We will host an Ultimate Frisbee game after practice today at Munn Field. All are welcome to attend; all you need to bring is yourself and a competitive attitude to help your team win! This weather-permitting activity may need to be canceled/rescheduled due to rain.

It’s MSURC Election Day! All members who have paid their dues and want to make their voices heard should plan to attend club elections tonight, March 31, at 7:30 PM in Wells Hall Room A201. Request an absentee ballot if you still want to vote but cannot attend.

Let’s keep rolling through the outdoor season, IT'S MEET WEEK!!! This week's outdoor track meet is the Golden Grizzlies Invite hosted by Oakland University. We will travel to and participate in this meet on Saturday, April 8th.

The sprinters ran out of their minds at the Spartan Invite last week! The Beast of the Meet is James Kobylski, who broke the men’s outdoor club record in the 100m dash with a time of 11.38 seconds and then proceeded to also finish second all-time in the men’s outdoor 200m dash!

Our wonderful apparel coordinator, Eric Berg, and our apparel coordinator-elect, Ashton Krill, will host a vintage apparel sale before practice today! If you'd like some vintage apparel for $2 a piece, please come to our usual meeting spot outside IM West between 4 pm and 5 pm!

We have a busy week ahead, but most importantly, IT'S MEET WEEK!!! Intrasquad Meet is Tuesday at Jenison & NIRCA Nationals will be Saturday/Sunday in Olivet & Dearborn. I hope you are all as excited as I am for the penultimate meet of the season this weekend! Club or Die!

MSURC Wiffleball is TONIGHT!!! Come out to Munn Field at 6 PM for a night of wiffleball and fun with the club! We'll make teams based on who shows up, so there is no need to sign up for this event. All you need to bring is yourself, and everything else will be supplied.

We can't forget about the field events! The Beast of the Meet for the Golden Grizzly Invite is Chris Kocher, who broke the men’s outdoor club record in discus with a distance of 40.49 meters and then proceeded to also finish second all-time in the men’s outdoor shot put!

For one last time this semester 🥲, IT’S MEET WEEK!!! This week’s meet is the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Invite at Oakland University. This is a two-day meet, occurring on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.

MSURC was out and representing at the 127th Boston Marathon! Shoutout to MSURC alumni Joseph Hegger and MSURC apparel coordinator and distance training chair-elect Eric Berg, who both ran and finished the Boston Marathon yesterday.

MSURC's golden boy showed out on the biggest stage of the season! Congratulations to River Meckstroth, who is our Beast of the Meet for NIRCA Nationals. River ran a 4:05.95 in the fast heat of the men's 1500m Run at Nationals to move up to #3 All-Time on the club leaderboards.

A storybook ending for the president 🫡 Our final Beast of the Meet for this track season is our very own club president, Aidan Bustillo! Aidan ran the 5K under the lights at the Elaine Leigh Invitational last week and ran the race of his life, finishing in a time of 15:09.04.
