Broken Shapes! In math Ss first worked on putting together broken squares independently and then broken circles in small groups. We discussed the importance of working together, supporting our peers with kind words and helping each other in a safe way.

In room 109 we read the book I am Human and explored different emotions and feelings, along with empathy. We shared some human connections and talked about ways to feel better or make others feel better, as well as expressing our emotions in healthy ways.

Ss are loving the First 20 days of math for building their math confidence. We used the online interactive 100s chart to find patterns, do some choral chants and challenged each other to some 3 and 4 targets

Community circle looked a little different today. We started the day by writing something nice about the person next to us. Then we shared them with the class and practiced what good listening looks and sounds like. Ss loved the positive start to their day!
