Before we start our new unit in Data, the Grade 5s explored online texts & resources to define key terms we’ll need to know throughout the unit. They then wrote examples of their own to help them solidify their understanding! 📊💻 St. Charles Garnier

The Grade 5s applied their knowledge of figurative language and elements of poetry to read & unpack poems of various styles. They then wrote their own poems and selected their favourite to include in our class Poetry Menu! 🖋St. Charles Garnier

The Grade 5s have been learning about fractions, decimals & percents, and the relationship between them. The students applied their knowledge by creating a pixel picture and determining the fraction, decimal and percentage of each colour used! 👾 St. Charles Garnier
