Before we start our new unit in Data, the Grade 5s explored online texts & resources to define key terms weβll need to know throughout the unit. They then wrote examples of their own to help them solidify their understanding! ππ» St. Charles Garnier


The Grade 5s applied their knowledge of figurative language and elements of poetry to read & unpack poems of various styles. They then wrote their own poems and selected their favourite to include in our class Poetry Menu! πSt. Charles Garnier

The Grade 5s have been learning about fractions, decimals & percents, and the relationship between them. The students applied their knowledge by creating a pixel picture and determining the fraction, decimal and percentage of each colour used! πΎ St. Charles Garnier
