This teacher uses Crash Course! From John's Welcome Back to School video to various history videos for novel background knowledge to using all the philosophy videos to give my students a foundational understanding of philosophy to analyze fictional characters.

We also create our own Crash Course-esque videos in class as final products for character analysis.

The internet is currently down at school while students are writing short answer responses. It is killing them to write by hand, and I am positive that a student has not opened a physical thesaurus in my room in 4 years, and right now, every one of them is out!

Today's Expert Day was Arushism. The purpose of Arushism is to make members awesome and good (think NJHS but even MORE prestigious). These gentlemen have created a religion/government that has laws, law enforcement, rewards, anthems, etc.

National Walk to School Day is always one of my favorite days for this very reason!! So many of my students up there and I LOVE drum lines.

Expert Day today is Riaan convincing us that Giraffes Don't Exist (teaching debate).

Our Expert Day is about Chez which is cheese but better. I legitimately learned how cheese was discovered! 🤯
