#VEDay80 | Liverpool has been celebrating with street parties today. Four schools - Whitefield Primary, Pinehurst Primary, All Saints Catholic Primary School, Anfield, and Anfield Primary – had a fun-packed day at Anfield thanks to Dowhigh Ltd and LFC Foundation, along with Liverpool City Council Neighbourhoods Team.

Next we watched some old style entertainment…Punch and Judy!! This was a firm favourite, with one child even saying “I’d watch that for hours, it’s much better than being on your phone” 😆 After our show we stopped for a lunch of jam sandwiches 🥪 Pinehurst Primary Red Neighbours
After lunch we did some 1940’s street dancing, learning some Lindy Hop moves! I must say, we have some brilliant Y6 dancers! 👏🏻 Pinehurst Primary Red Neighbours
Our last two activities included listening to a brilliant interactive storyteller Jude Lennon Books and enjoying some mindful crafts. Thank you so much Liverpool City Council LFC Foundation Red Neighbours for such a great time! We thoroughly enjoyed everything ☺️ Pinehurst Primary
