#FCTMchat Q2: We used circle maps to illustrate and explain how numbers make up aspects of their life. They hung them on their cubby door.

#FCTMchat A2: Students wrote memoirs about their math experiences and how they hope to grow as a mather.

Do you know your students' math identities? Ask them!

#FCTMchat A3: As students grow more comfortable in the classroom and with their abilities, they begin to share and realize that mistakes are not only ok, but a necessary part of learning.

#FCTMchat A4: Students wrote a mid-year math memoir to reflect on how they grew as a mather, what they are enjoying most, and their goals for the second semester.

#FCTMchat A5: Continue to have students thinking and talking to through reflections, Building Thinking Classroom Activities, and number sense routines.
