This afternoon we spoke about ways to cope with feeling frustrated or angry. Everyone was able to describe what frustration felt like and shared ideas that we can use to help make ourselves feel better. My favourite has to be eat some ice cream 🍦

Yesterday afternoon we looked at the South African artist Esther Mahlangu. She uses bold, bright geometric shapes in her work. I must say we all loved creating our own versions of her fantastic artwork.

We adore our music time! Today we sang a hello song in lots of different languages and then sang songs about the sea and space. It was so much fun! 🎵 YMI Falkirk

Hi everyone! As part of STEM week we are looking to collect some old cardboard boxes, milk cartons, etc so that we can create a very special model that we will be designing. We would love it if you could hand anything in that you have spare. I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Yesterday we used our knowledge of different exercises to create a workout routine. We demonstrated great teamwork skills and encouraged our friends. Great work everyone!

Today we became NASA designers. We created a lunar buggy, discussed what our buggy would need (durability, solar power and sturdy wheels) and came up with some very creative names for them. We used our presenting skills to showcase our designs to the class. #STEM

We transformed ourselves into NASA engineers and used the designs for our moon buggies to construct them! You all were able to show ingenuity, problem solving and teamwork skills! You managed to create wheels, moving parts and one group even made a driver called Bob 😊 #LVPSSTEM

Yesterday we learned about the life cycle of a chicken! We remembered lots of facts.

We had the most amazing time on our trip to D2. What a wonderful way to spend the day! The smiles on your faces say it all! We are all very inspired to create our own works of art 🖼 Thank you so much to all our helpers who came along to share in the experience!

This afternoon we had the pleasure of spending some time with the fire brigade who were nice enough to show us around their fire trucks 🚒 we found out lots of interesting facts about how to become a firefighter, how many litres the water truck holds and the equipment they use!

Today we were learning about our solar system. This was the result ⭐️🌎 🪐

P2M got quite the surprise this afternoon when Annie the alpaca turned up for a visit 🦙 It is safe to say this fluffy little ball of love has stolen all of our hearts ♥️ Have a great weekend everyone 😊

A rainy day called for some Star Wars themed cosmic yoga 🧘

Today we learned lots of new facts about the planet Mercury! We used this new found knowledge to create a fact file to share with the rest of the class. Great job everyone 😊

Today we learned all about the 3rd planet in our solar system … Earth 🌎 I was blown away with your team working skills and presentations 😍

Another day, another trip to a different planet! We learned that Mars has over 43000 craters, is the 4th planet from the sun and that a year on Mars lasts 687 Earth days. Super work everyone!
