Student discourse was abundant in 5th grade today. Ss determined intervals on a number line using place value patterns in math. In science class, Ss were in deep discussion of evidence to support or dispute a claim about a mystery pollutant in a sample of water. #StopherThrives

Ms. George’s class took their learning celebration to the hallway. Stopher Elementary wrote riddles using facts from research about birds. Today they tried to solve them. I was amazed by the rich vocabulary and specific details in their writing and drawings. #StopherThrives
