Congrats to ALL the students accepted into Governors School for the Arts! And ofcourse a special shout out to my students: Sabina, Gracie, Sade, Emely (Visual Arts) and Emmalyne (Film & Photos)!!! J.M. Atherton High School


After bothing winning 1st place awards in the Regional KyAEA All State art competition, these students just won 2nd and 1st place at the State level! Way to go Brooke Link and Maggie Barnett! J.M. Atherton High School

Happy to announce Mattie Diehl's artwork has won the OVERALL Congressional Art Competition! This work was selected by judges and will hang in the US Capitol for a year! Congrats Mattie!! J.M. Atherton High School Morgan McGarvey


Can you believe J.M. Atherton High School 's Art Fest is TOMORROW? 5-6p in the lower concourse! It will include incredible work like Valeria Montanez' portfolio, where she emphasizes line & color to explore the intricate relationship between age & mood through captivating portraiture!
