A special “shout-out” to many of our third graders 🐝 🅷🅸🅻🅻🆂🅸🅳🅴 🆂🅲🅷🅾🅾🅻 who chose to come to school early this morning to serve as greeters to welcome our veterans and escort them to breakfast!

I LOVE our guided meditation classes during concert week 🐝 🅷🅸🅻🅻🆂🅸🅳🅴 🆂🅲🅷🅾🅾🅻! Sometimes, our nerves can get in the way of having fun on stage with our friends. Finding strategies to manage those nerves is part of learning to be a performer!

Third graders 🐝 🅷🅸🅻🅻🆂🅸🅳🅴 🆂🅲🅷🅾🅾🅻 have reverse engineered the thought process of a composer’s intent when writing a piece of music and are now taking the inspiration from a known piece of music to create new music. First stop: creating a story we want to tell!

Second graders 🐝 🅷🅸🅻🅻🆂🅸🅳🅴 🆂🅲🅷🅾🅾🅻 are working on showing off their skills about interpreting meaning in music and writing about their favorite piece! 🎶

Our third grade project continues 🐝 🅷🅸🅻🅻🆂🅸🅳🅴 🆂🅲🅷🅾🅾🅻!! Next step: learning how to use audio editing and creation programs on our Chromebooks! These students are SUPER creative!!
